Today I did my laundry by hand, in the sink because Veronica doesn't have a washer and dryer and apparently the Laundromats in Rome are few and far between! It was..interesting. Haha. Then, I decided to make myself an omelet. So I turned on the gas, like in Chem lab, and took the lighter (avevo paura) and lit the stove! It was quite an accomplishment for me. Then, I cleaned my room, stripped my bed (Mom, you would've been proud) and created another itinerary out of some more City Walks: Rome cards. Then, I went to go pick up Chiara from ballet. This went much more smoothly than my attempt to pick up Eduardo yesterday, except that two minutes after she came out, she started bawling in my arms. I think her friend said something or did something, but I couldn't understand a thing and I didn't know the words to console her, I felt so bad.
We got back and hung out with Debora and Edo..Debora and I were talking about our mutual love for languages..she's going to go to university in Munich in the fall to become a language teacher! She's already fluent in German and Italian and REALLY good in English..and she's going to take French, Latin, Greek, and Dutch! WOO!! Debora, you're my herrrrroooo. HAHA. Thursday, we're going to go shopping! YEY!
When we were putting the kids to bed, Edo gave me a wet willy. It was NASTY and totally unexpected. And of course, I fell for it again when he pretended to whisper in my ear and then LICKED it. EWWWWWW. So to get him back, when he came back in the room from the kitchen, I scared the bejesus out of him. He laughed for about 20 minutes after. HAHAHA!
